Seekling

a perch atop a leafless pinnacle
pale blue air wind
blowing cool in hazy sunlight

who has left, who remains
to stay or go, we wonder
but the question remains
because there is always an elsewhere

and yet you wonder why
this hasn't turned out like you wanted
and you wonder where
you will find the way out
and you didn't realize
that the answer is Nowhere

Who has left, who remains
when the answer is Nowhere.
And don't you notice
that Nowhere
is Now, Here.

Awesome poem.

Everybody's hoping
That it will be their day
Taking all they got
And they throw it away
Looking for some happiness
Anywhere but here
Anytime but now

- the chorus from a song of mine called "Here and Now"

I was thinking about someone else, also in B.C., when I wrote this post.
