I really like the direction here, and am excited to see where it leads, but I wish I had 10 minutes with you in front of photoshop. I think grounding the figures sometimes at least would be good. By grounding, i mean attached to the ground with overlap and shadow instead of floating in blur. I'm sure you can figure out shadow (burn tool), and overlap seems to work with clone tool. So there you go, we don't have to sit down, but that would have been more fun.
