I thank you God for this most amazing day, for the leaping greenly spirits of trees, and for the blue dream of sky and for everything which is natural, which is infinite, which is yes.
(i who have died am alive again today, and this is the sun's birthday;this is the birth day of life and of love and wings: and of the gay great happening illimitably earth).
it's the second stanza of the same poem, and the rest goes like this:
"how should tasting touching hearing seeing breathing any-lifted from the no of all nothing-human merely being doubt unimaginable You? (now the ears of my ears awake and now the eyes of my eyes are opened)
The first two stanzas totally agree with what I felt today. It was my last day at work and they threw a little party for me. When I got home I went for a solid round of friz at Vimy Ridge with Joanna.
Being out in the sunshine, the breeze and the clear blue sky, chasing that disk, making multiple behind-the-back catches.
Knowing I'd made some good connections with my co-workers and the people we work with made me feel valued.
I am really alive and awed by what we're all doing here on earth together. Breathing, learning, loving, moving on.
The essence of life made up of moments and relationships and reflections on the shear mystery and beauty of it all.
