Ya, so is there a story behind this painting? You made it right? I'm trying to do a new painting right now, and it's really hard. I can't seem to get anything i like. It's an abstract painting, which I thought would be easier, but I forgot, they aren't easier. I want really badly to get something new and interesting, and the only way I know how to do that is trudging through a whole lot of experimentation. It's frustrating, but probably good to do.
yeah, there's a fine line between experimentation and crap. I'm afraid I've crossed it here, but it feels good to get it out, to just play. It's completely necessary. At one point I was blowing paint with a straw!

I don't know...it makes me think of that piece that jenni and lorne did, that treeplanting map one.

I like it too, especially the text,and I like that it comes from an email, very cool...this story actually just keeps getting better.
