no, b/c that is how the image translated to me. Feel free do do your own interpretaion, my images are for all, I'm giving them away at this point. i felt that the environment was just as, if not more important than them. They were IN it, like when we get mad that bears invade campgrounds....lol, another tangient there

The pic of the painting doesn't do the actual justice, or justin for that matter. Too much reflective varnish.
i'm commenting 2 minutes after you posted this.
golly.
just looking at these, the drawing has an intimacy and vulnerability that gets lost somewhere in the painting/photo.
That's called "Hollywood" Wolfie!
polish the soul right off of it! i know exactly what you mean...but, had I not posted the sketch.....
after another look, i feel like it's b/c in the drawing, they're so much more dominant, since they fill most of the space.
whereas in the painting, they kind of recede back into the image a bit.
think about rembrandt's or caravaggio's lighting of subjects...
maybe you wanna try something like that (which i'm sure is--sarcasm alert-- sooooo simple) to bring them out more sharply?

I meant "have" not "do" your own, do sounds rude -sorry
these feel really warm...(even though they're glossy).
heh, I like that comment about the bears "invading" our campgrounds, true true true.
