Virtual Collage Party

Theme: the blog ( conception, birth, death, rebirth, act of communication)

Start time: NOW until Saturday, April 5th by midnight.

Please post to the blog on or before Saturday.

Remember "collage" just means to glue together a variety of elements. Collage is derived from the french word colle (glue). My point is it does not have to be paper or magazines or anything like that.

See Merriam-Webster Version:
an artistic composition made of various materials (as paper, cloth, or wood) glued on a surface b: a creative work that resembles such a composition in incorporating various materials or elements 2: the art of making collages3: hodgepodge
a work (as a film) having disparate scenes in rapid succession without transitions
— collage transitive verb
— col·lag·ist
\-ˈlä-zhist\ noun

This has been swirling around in my head for awhile, so it is partly in response but partly in neutral in origin.

To weigh in on the "is the Alfa dead" debate. I'd say no.

jeez, it doesn't have to be a constant art orgasm. ya know.
:)

Maybe that is the theme...the birth/death/rebirth of ALFA. And yes it has to be a constant art orgasm.

don't mess with my theme, Culleton.

I think your idea of a collage challenge is a good one. I just think your theme is too general. Focus!!

In true ALFA style your idea shall be apppropiated, mutated, and from it will rise a better, group idea.

Lorne's idea of 'is this blog dead' should be the theme, the thought that it has possibly fallen to pieces and now we are going to collage it's parts back together again is an interesting one for me, it has relevance to the group.

SO can we change it now? :)

a diabolical plan so you can get all of them in one place and then burn them in effigy or something.
