David McMillan

We touched on the topic of nature taking over, and I couldn't help but to think of my photography professor's project in Chernobyl. Follow the link below to the photographs.

I especially like the kindergarten and hospital photographs.

Rainbows: Beautiful, intricate, this guy must have been a painter at some point( :)) because his attention to detail makes me think of great paintings. Such engaging images. At first I thought, oh great, another artist scavenging a disaster/human trauma area for images. How creative.

BUt then showing how the earth lives on, changed and different. That's great. Although I wonder how many things were moved around to make a great shot...like hey, let's drag that boat in here, or let's move those chairs together...

but really nice work. There'd be some great paintings. too bad he doesn't paint anymore.
