End of an Era

There is an article in The New York Times today on the photographic legacy of the Bush presidency - interesting for both its coverage of the past 8 years, but also purely in terms of the discussion of journalistic photography.

that was really interesting... felt several waves of nausea in particular with that first shot of him and the fireman... also the one where he's crying. thanks for sharing. definitely calls for a chaser

ha! nice chaser, thanks.

very interesting study of photojournalism, though, and how it happens.

this pic in particular, for e.g., which makes him look kind of stupid, but doesn't help us understand that the door was locked, and he knew that, and was just making a funny face to be silly.
