There is an article in The New York Times today on the photographic legacy of the Bush presidency - interesting for both its coverage of the past 8 years, but also purely in terms of the discussion of journalistic photography.

very interesting study of photojournalism, though, and how it happens.
this pic in particular, for e.g., which makes him look kind of stupid, but doesn't help us understand that the door was locked, and he knew that, and was just making a funny face to be silly.
