Shortly after the death of my brother, I met a woman named Pat while working at Palliser. Just after meeting Pat, her husband passed away, and I made this painting for her. At that moment we shared something about loss, and this painting reminds of it. I came across it and wasn't sure if I had shared it with the blog yet. so here it is.

i haven`t done a still life since about that time myself. It should probably be a mandatory annual event.
