Great stuff. I think they would work even better if you follow the trick of keeping bigger figures int he foreground and have them get smaller or dimmer as you go back, sort of build it like you would a real landscape. The wrestling figures are great, did you add a shadow? Another good trick. Blurring as you go back is good too. If you in a landscape it doesn't hurt to follow a landscapes conventions. But, alternately, the top one sort of ignores this, which is probably another reason why people like it less(see Komar and Melamid). You could take the top one further this way, but I like the bottom. Make the orange figures on the right smaller. And maybe make a less deliberate attempt to fill the spaces..ie the small things floating in the sky in th eopen areas. Okay, I've said too much. keep making these.

These are rough, but I thought I'd get opinions.
I want to start doing these super huge, and build really intricate landscapes, Hieronymus Bosch-like.
Courtnagesque.
I like the bottom one. The top one looks like fear of nudity with those skin coloured undies.
i like the bottom one too.
the top one is too busy and i can't quite follow.
and yes, skin coloured undies make the wrong statement.
this is exciting.
i also really like the use of red figure pottery motifs.
coooool.
I agree about the pottery thing, and that this is exciting to see.
funny, i thought "courtnage-esque" as well. thought they were maybe his, at first.
i like 'em. agreed, bottom is gooder.
I'm sure it wasn't intentional , but I see a symbol in the top one.
