per sent ages

nothing and nothing
together in the dark
feeling the walls and stumbling blocks
sleepless and waiting
...waiting and wondering
.....wishing and wanting
.......relinquishing

reliving the moments that passed on the wind
while the scent of turmoil boils within
on a rope on a limb on the hook
on downing street on main street
at the capitol in the field
the armies have gathered and settled in
for the long haul
the plunder divided unevenly
that was the start of the conflict

--==::;; and the resolution awaits the revolution

Man oh man oh man, good stuff Onosson, I'm almost envious, as my poetry bone has softened as of late.

I find that I'm so busy with other stuff, these things just write themselves in the background somewhere.

Ever read Julian Jaynes on consciousness?
