by the time i did the top one my pen was running out. i was digging into the paper to keep some of those lines.
Digging into the paper is the only way, the only way.
It's interesting how we all have different lines. Yours look jagged here, like your being bumped by a sharp skajazz beat.Keep diggin.

The draughtsmen is inherent in each drawing. It's like handwriting.
